Hi Team, I would like to share my feedback\testimony regarding the recent insurance claim process with Ethika and new insurance provider Go Digit My Father was admitted hospital for Hernia surgery and we have opted for a cashless claim process. it Initially the hospital was very slow in processing and keep on telling us the things are pending with insurance company and TPA. So | reached out to Chaitanya he explained the process and how to track the claim status using the messages send my both Mediassit and Go Digit and helped to get the preapproval quickly. Since it was package about approved amount was for 1.22 Lakhs(we are expected to get actual claim around 1 lakh) Next day when my father was getting we faced more hurdles with claim as there was delay from hospital side. Claim was send for approval 4 PM only even though everything was ready by 12 PM and hospital had claimed for 1.8 lakhs final amount. As we went asked hospital about the increased billing about they said, 1.8 lakh is final about and whatever information given to us earlier was communication error. In general case we would have ended up paying difference of 80,000 from our hand. This where | found how beneficial both our TPA and insurance providers are. They immediately flagged the discrepancy and hospital retracted bill and submitted a new bill for 1.22 lakhs. Reason for my awareness about all these things happening at the backend was period updates sent by both TPA and Go Digit; which | found extremely useful. Initially when we asked hospital why discharge process getting delayed they will tell as that it is from insurance side. But with tracking system we are able counter them. I really appreciate the transparency in the process and the way you keep us updated. Chaitanya was in touch with us during all this time giving updates and helping to with all backend processes. By the time hospital submitted the final claim it was 6:45 PM and we thought there is no-way to get the discharge on that day. But Chaitanya followed up again and we got the claim approved by 8 PM and father was discharged by 9 PM. In none of the previous organizations | worked, | haven't seen such a good provider and an insurance person who is always reachable and helping. | greatly appreciate your service and heartfelt thank you for making the claim process easy. I give 100% credit to Venkata Swamy from Ethika who has taken my case found the root cause of the issue 35k was the surgery cost for cataract MICS, usually 30k will be approved for this but 25k was approved as initial amount. and i had to pay 10k. But once the discharge summary was sent to insurance guys by the hospital people, the approval was downgraded to just 20k Hospital people just spoke as a formality and informed that it is the cap as per insurance company. They didn't even care to check what is the issue. I have contacted Ethika, the spoke to insurance company and found that 20k is the cap for normal cataract surgery. But the surgery procedure is MICS. Who is responsible for this misunderstanding, hospital or Insurance company? Anyway, Venkata Swamy from Ethika discussed same with hospital then the hospital people sent the agreement details to insurance company, i informed the same to Ethika and they took it forward and got 30k is approved for me. So l give 100% credit to Venkata Swamy from Ethika. Thank you Ethika, this is the second time you stood by me. First time was during covid with my personal insurance
